Westermo develops and manufactures advanced products for industrial data communication that are used in mission-critical installations and in harsh industrial environments such as trains, mines, ports, the energy sector and more. Communication networks built from our products are very robust and secure and provide high value for our customers.  
 
Are you our new Account Manager?
We are now seeking a salesperson to help us establish and grow our presence in the Netherlands and the Benelux region. Our new office in the Netherlands is planned to open in early 2026, and this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of launching Westermo’s operations in Benelux from the ground up.
Your responsibilities will include answering incoming inquiries, prospecting, acquiring, and developing new customers, in addition to expanding our existing customer base. The role focuses primarily on new customer acquisition and relationship building across a mix of industries – including the railway sector. Our focus segments are the Energy sector, Train and Trackside, Marine and Automation. You will oversee part of our Dutch clients, with the objective of growing our market and customer portfolio. This work will be conducted in close collaboration with our Country Manager and the Managing Director in Sweden.

The primary responsibilities include identifying and understanding customers' network solution requirements and proposing solutions based on Westermo's products and services. We employ several value-based sales techniques. You will collaborate closely with the local Country Manager, as well as a team comprising technical support, inside sales, and pre-sales specialists based in Västerås, Sweden. The role requires travel to customer sites in the Netherlands, office-based tasks and occasionally meetings at the head office in Sweden.
So, who are we looking for?
We are looking for a salesperson who has experience in technical B2B sales and who wants to work with the entire sales process; from prospecting to building relationships and sales, and following up and supporting existing customers. You are a team player who loves to interact with customers, solve problems, and believes in our products, solutions, and services. You are an excellent communicator who has the ability to engage, challenge, educate and influence others.
You are motivated by the mix of work: contacting potential new customers, as well as developing existing. Our values are important to us, and we want you to share them. You probably already got a feel of them whilst reading the ad; we are customer focused, put quality first, we play fair, and we always help each other out by sharing knowledge and asking questions.
Requirements:
- Hands on experience in selling technical products through value-based selling.
- High integrity and honesty, with a strong ethical approach to sales.
- Higher education in areas such as technology, engineering or similar.
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- Driving license
Meritorious:
- Experience with using a CRM system (we are using SalesForce) and Office365.
- Preferably a background in the IT and/or OT industry
- Background in industrial data communication, process automation, or related technical knowledge and experience.
- Experience from one or more of our focus segments (Water/Wastewater, ITS, Marine, Train and Trackside or Energy) is an advantage.
