What made you apply to the Westermo trainee program?

I came to the conclusion that if I were ever to participate in a trainee program, now was the time, while I was still a recent graduate. I had never heard of Westermo before applying to the trainee program. As I learned more about the Westermo, I found it to be an exceptional place to work, with a fantastic culture, and a great place to begin my career.

Has the trainee program lived up to your expectations?

One of my main objectives with the trainee program was to see the business from different perspectives and that I have certainly accomplished! I spent a few months with a superb team of software developers, which gave me insights on how the R&D department operates.

Your journey at Westermo continues. What do you do now?

I am currently at the final phase of the trainee program, working at our sales office in Sydney for two months. Seeing our products reach customers around the world, and how the products are used by customers is an incredible experience. There is something captivating about seeing where our products end up and the effects of our work. I will be returning to the Westermo office in Västerås, Sweden, to continue my pre-sales role as Network Application Engineer with new skills and experiences.
