Why the Westermo Trainee program?

Once I graduated from the university, I was looking for a role as a production developer or something similar. An ad for the trainee program caught my eye, and I started reading about Westermo, its products, and its values. After that, I was hooked and haven't looked back!

What was your first project?

My first project was to participate in developing the Westermo Production System (WPS), a framework of guidelines that support our logistics and production processes.

The WPS team carried out extensive improvement work that aimed to improve working environment and create efficient processes within our logistics and production department.

My main responsibilities were to review everything from the structure of our finished goods warehouse and picking methodology, to the general layout of the warehouse and system structure (IFS). 

What lies ahead for you as you continue your journey with Westermo?

It´s exciting to continue my journey at Westermo in the role of production developer to realize the Westermo Production System and other projects. 

I could not wish for a better opportunity - to develop both myself and the organization at the same time.
