Tell us about your journey as a trainee at Westermo.

It has been a great experience and true steppingstone in my career. I started the trainee program back in 2020. One of my projects was to improve the process for product launches. Parallel to the day-to-day work, the trainees were offered different courses on leadership, presentation techniques, and project management. We also got the opportunity to practice in the factory for a week. This was a very useful experience where I got a thorough understanding of how our products are manufactured, and an insight into the quality procedures.

What´s the next step?

Continuing to build my career at Westermo. I started off as a Product Marketer and today I´m a Marketing Communication Specialist. It is an exciting and varied role that gives me the opportunity to travel and develop international contacts. With more responsibilities and the opportunity to grow, my journey at Westermo will continue.
