In our Technical Sales Team, a group of Network Specialists work on listening to potential customers’ needs, and providing them with blue prints on their specific network solutions.

Are you our new Network Application Engineer?

In this role, you will get a great mix of network technology and customer relations. Perhaps you meet a potential client at an industry fair. Or, a colleague in one of our global sales teams needs your assistance. Either way, your task is to listen to and understand the customers’ needs, and work with them and other colleagues at Westermo to propose the solution.

Besides meeting customers, you will work on further develop and document network applications, develop solutions and trouble shoot ongoing projects. You will also develop and deliver technical sales training, holding technical presentations primarily for customers, but also distributors and colleagues.

In this role, you will find yourself working in a global environment; both in terms of customers, but also Sales and Support Colleagues in the Westermo Sales Offices around the globe, as well as the Product Office and R&D teams in Västerås.

So, who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has a background working with Data Communication, i.e. Networks. You are technically savvy, but what really motivates you is solving a customer’s challenge. You enjoy communication with others, and are comfortable giving presentations for smaller groups. Taking ownership and responsibility for your work are important aspects in this role. You think that Quality is key and understand how important Teamwork is.

Requirements:

• Experience in working with Data Communication
• Engineering Degree
• Fluent in English, at least moderate in Swedish
• Able to travel, approx. 6 times/year

Meritorious:

• Programming skills
• Driving license
• Background in Railway Industry or Energy Sector
