Are you our new Rail Sales Manager?
As the Rail Sales Manager for Westermo UK you will be responsible for selling Westermo’s wide range of data communications products into trackside, train to ground and onboard applications.
This is the chance to build a business in the UK from the ground up with a fantastic product range that has been used around world in many successful projects with the biggest names in the industry.
You will receive first class backup from the established UK team and from our global colleagues. Your key role will be to develop business within the UK rail market.
So, who are we looking for?
Someone who is looking for that real opportunity where what they does makes a difference. They will have an outgoing personality with the ability to network with customers and colleagues and have the ability to work effectively alone but also as part of a team.
- Experiance of working in the UK rail industry either in a technical or sales role.
- Ability to recognise real customer needs and then value sell the Westermo products.
- Good IT literacy – confident with Microsoft Office 365 and ability to use digital communications (email, Teams, LinkedIn, etc) in a business environment.
- Confident with video meetings
- Degree in a technical subject or equivalent is preferred
- Knowledge of rail applications and standards: EN50155, EN61375, EN50121-4
- Experience of managing a team
- Using a CRM system such as sales force to build an opportunity pipeline
- Experience of tender preparation
