Are you our new Managing Director Sales for Sweden and Finland?

Westermo is on a journey. Our strategy has taken us far, but we still have goals to achieve! We are looking for our new Managing Director of our business unit that covers the Swedish and Finish market.

The sales organization at Westermo consists of several traditional sales branch offices that has full responsibility to serve the local market. As Managing Director, you have full profit and loss responsibility for the Westermo Sweden/Finland market, and you will report to the global Sales VP. You will manage a team of seven to ten people. Within your team’s responsibilities you find business development, account management, field sales, inside sales and order administration. Further, the technical team does technical support but primarily provides consultative advice on application solutions and network design as part of the sales process. Your personal responsibility also extends to finance, HR and IT with the support of group central functions.

What you’ll be working with and be responsible for:

As the Managing Director, you will be responsible for the strategy, business development and development of local service offerings. In Sweden and Finland, Westermo has some of its core OEMs and through them, there is an international reach that is vital to our business success.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Drive local operations and business planning, adhering to the Westermo strategic plan for Sweden and Finland.
  • Establish and monitor relevant business KPIs and ensure revenue and profitability targets are met or beaten.
  • Vigorously drive business development in a multi-tier channel to market approach: local OEMs, Distribution Partners, System Integrators and End Users.
  • Actively develop local Service offerings.
  • Ensure proper business ethics and code of conduct in adherence with Westermo policies.
  • Promote the wellness of staff and implement policies inline with labor legislation and health and safety guidelines to create a diverse and positive working environment.
  • Maintain positive and trust-based relations with authorities, trade associations etc.
  • Represent Westermo and raise the company public profile at events, speaking engagements etc.

We are looking for someone with a genuine passion and drive for B2B sales! An experienced leader looking for the next challenge, and appreciates the trust and accountability you are given as Managing Director. You love creating, building and maintaining relationships, and you are a great motivator. You have a winning attitude and can combine working towards corporate, team and personal goals in a structured way. You want to combine your love of sales with passion for motivating your team!

To thrive in this role, you need to be a mature leader, confident in your way of working, yet open to ideas and trying new things.

Requirements:

  • Experience within B2B sales in an engineering/tech environment.
  • Proven leadership skills, leading and motivating a small focused team.
  • Solid business acumen and be savvy in international business.
  • Being able to travel 50-60 days/year 
  • Fluent in English and Swedish.
