Are you our new Market Communications Manager?

We are looking for our next Market Communications Manager, a role where you get to combine leadership and hands-on marketing work. At Westermo, the ‘MarCom’ team consists of four members with their own specialties; graphic design, technical writing, product marketing and digital marketing. As their manager you coach, support and develop them as individuals and as a group.

You will be responsible for budgeting and planning marketing activities and to drive market recognition of the Westermo brand and values. Together with the MarCom team your mission will be to increase the level of market awareness of the Westermo offer through global public relations activities. You will develop increasing levels of business leads for our sales channels, safekeep the messaging and visual identity, ensure excellent customer experience through our marketing material and ensure a professional process of documentation update and control.

What you’ll be working with and be responsible for:

  • Lead, coach, and manage a team of four people, all located in Sweden
  • Write, design and produce marketing material
  • Plan and deliver campaigns
  • Plan and deliver webinars
  • Develop marketing automation
  • Project management of marketing initiatives, fairs and events
  • ... and much more!

 So, who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who understands and wants to support a global organization. Someone with a modern approach to B2B marketing, preferably with experience from the industrial world (we get it - you might not be an expert in industrial networks, that's fine), and is not afraid of technology.

Someone who values design and “the look and feel”, and has the ability to create campaigns and marketing activities through digital marketing techniques, understand the concept of A / B testing, and be able to draw conclusions from data and analytics from e.g. Google analytics, Salesforce, etc.

We want you to be a "finisher"- someone who knows a good idea when they hear one, and has the stamina and courage to try it out and see it through. We want someone who likes the mix of leadership and marketing, and still thinks it's fun to try new things and methods.

Requirements

  • Experience in marketing within a technology company
  • Experience in leading a (small) team
  • Experience and interest in digital marketing
  • Experience in CRM systems
  • Preferably an academic degree in marketing
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
  • Tech-savvy and used to working in Microsoft 365 (Teams, Office, etc.)
